Reading Expiration Dates

Updated: Nov 5

Surprise!

Due to popular demand, we've created a new free mini lesson on how to read expiration dates. As we all know, knowing when food has gone bad is essential for a healthy diet and a healthy life; but some of our students may not realize something has gone bad until something is growing on it. So this lesson shows different ways an expiration date can be labeled on food! As usual, if you enjoy this lesson, feel free to click here to go to our main website!

Apologies if this blog post isn't as professional as our previous ones; Susan Traugh is currently under the weather and I (her tech support, illustrator, and daughter) am in charge of writing this blog post. But I'd like to take this opportunity to speak candidly to our supporters. Transition 2 Life and Daily Living Skills originally was made to help me and my siblings transition from high school into the "adult" world. And my mom is constantly writing new books and lessons on things that we still struggle with.

But we genuinely couldn't have done this without you. The T2L & DLS team consists of Susan Traugh, the author and editor, Steven Traugh, the media advisor, and me, the tech support and illustrator. While our hopes are to make this into a much bigger thing, we have to acknowledge the fact that this is already so much more than we ever thought it could be; and we wouldn't have gotten here without you. So I want to say thank you so much for you love and support for what we're doing here, and we look forward to working with you more in the future.

Thank you so much,

Mary Traugh
